Danny is the Chief Financial Officer of Camouflage Software Inc. a leading expert and pioneer in the field of sensitive data management, security and data masking. Danny holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with almost 20 years of experience spanning the software, information technology and professional services industries. After starting his career with Deloitte in St. John's in the mid-90's, Danny and his wife made the decision to try a new experience and moved to Bermuda in 2001 where he transferred to the Deloitte office down there. In addition to his time with Deloitte, Danny held senior financial positions with Appleby, one of the world's largest offshore legal, fiduciary and administration services firms. Danny has played a leading role in multiple corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, IPO's and new office openings in a variety of jurisdictions including Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Mauritius, Switzerland and the Channel Islands. While the sun and sand made it easy to make a two year adventure turn into nine, in 2010 Danny and his family decided it was time to head home and start the next phase of their lives back in Newfoundland and Labrador. Upon his return to the Province Danny joined Camouflage and its sister company, Plato Consulting Inc. as CFO. In 2013 he played a leading role in the sale of Plato to KPMG Canada.
Like other NATI board members Danny is passionate about the role the technology sector can play in diversifying the local economy and shaping the future prosperity of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Danny lives in Torbay with his wife and two children and when not working can usually be found at the hockey rink or ball park coaching minor hockey and baseball.
