EY has the largest dedicated SR&ED team in Canada with more than 120 professionals that have PhD, engineering and former CRA backgrounds. We'll work with you to discuss opportunities and expand your understanding of government incentive possibilities (e.g., access to grants) with our teams. We can review your current Canadian SR&ED activities and provide our perspective on your SR&ED submissions and whether improvements are possible. We'll work with you to explore other government incentives beyond SR&ED tax credits. We offer various fee options to align with your cash flow needs which include contingency, flat fee and rate per hour.
Our approach to delivering government incentives services is based on developing an understanding of your operation, business priorities, budgets and business plan. We want to understand your vision of where the company is going and where it has recently been. We glean this through selective interviews and a review of your existing company programs, appropriation requests and business imperatives, as well as business plans. We also leverage our understanding of your SR&ED activities to create a more precise picture of the long-term opportunities.
