Call for Expressions of Interest: Exploratory Outbound Mission to Singapore, including the 2016 Singapore Airshow

NATI & ADIANL invite expressions of interest from eligible NL companies and organizations, for an exploratory outbound mission to Singapore, proposed for February 16 - 21, 2016, coinciding with the bi-annual Singapore Air Show.* Interest in the Singapore market is growing across several of NL's key industries, including the aerospace & defence, ocean technology and ICT sectors.

In addition, the Singapore Air Show is Asia's biggest aerospace trade show, with SAS 2014 posting the following results:

  • Deals worth US $32B
  • 1,018 participating companies, from 47 countries & regions
  • 65 of the top 100 aerospace companies
  • 22 country/region pavilions
  • 45,152 trade attendees from 125 countries & regions
  • 274 delegations from 76 countries & regions

As a participant of the delegation, companies will be provided with:

  • Access to a shared 12 sqm x 12 sqm exhibition space, within the Canada Pavilion, at SAS 2016. 4 company maximum. (optional, see below)
  • Services of an in-market consultant to assist in arranging B2B meetings
  • All access conference pass
  • Entry into several key networking events  

Eligible companies can participate in 2 ways:

1.)    $5,000: Companies who opt to attend and exhibit at SAS 2016. This fee includes their portion of the booth costs and conference registration, overall mission support, access to the in-market consultant for arranging business to business meetings, and to avail of any additional value added events in partnership with the Canadian Consulate and the Canada Pavilion organizers. Approximate value: $12,000.
Note: total booth space is 12m x 12m; and there would be room for 4 exhibitors.

2.)    $1,500: Companies who do not wish to attend and exhibit at SAS 2016, but would like to join the mission and avail of the mission support program, access to the in-market consultant to arrange business to business, and to avail of additional value added events in partnership with the Canadian Consulate and the Canada Pavilion organizers. Approximate value: $6,000.

Participants are responsible for the cost of round trip airfare, accommodation and meals.
