What is 48Hrs in the Valley?

Each year, we invite 20 of Canada's top startups for 48 hours of unparalleled access to the C100's extensive network in Silicon Valley. In the Valley, the selected startups are mentored by successful entrepreneurs, taught by some of the most influential minds in the ecosystem, and introduced to top American VC's and investors.

What are the criteria?

Below are the guidelines we follow when looking for the most promising startups to be included in 48Hrs in the Valley:

  • Must have active users (not in beta)
  • Meaningful traction and anticipated growth projections over the next 24 months
  • Exceptional team
  • Significant funding

What is the application process ?

Companies must receive a nomination from a C100 Funding Partner, Charter Member or 48Hrs alumni. All of our Charter Members, partners and alumni receive a link to the nomination form and a special code that they use to nominate companies.

What happens after a company has been nominated?

Companies will receive a link to an application form which they must fill out and return in order to be considered.

What do I have to include in the application?

All the typical information regarding your company and product should be included (e.g. traction you've received to date and how you are uniquely positioned to be the clear winner within your market (Unique Selling Proposition). Differentiate yourself from other companies as much as possible by examining and highlighting your strengths and the value you add to your industry.

When will I know if I am selected?

Final applications close on September 25th, 2015 and we will begin our selection review process immediately thereafter. We will announce the companies selected during the week of October 26th

What if I am not selected?

All companies that apply will be notified either way once the final cohort is selected.

What if I don't know someone from the list of nominators?

This is the perfect time to introduce yourself! Remember:

  • All C100 partners are listed on the website with contact information so you can easily reach out to them.
