The recent executive order banning travel to the USA has caused companies, entrepreneurs and technology professionals in America and around the world to rethink their situations and their opportunities.

Canada is built on a strong, inclusive society that encourages its citizens to operate in a global market and embrace multi-culturalism, and as Prime Minister Trudeau said, diversity is Canada's strength.

The Newfoundland and Labrador technology and innovation sector understands the power of inclusion. By hiring, training, and mentoring people from around the world we can build successful global enterprises that grow our provincial economy and enrich our cultural identity. Many great North American companies have been founded by and staffed with the best and brightest from around the world.

Newfoundland and Labrador is a safe and supportive environment in which to live and work.  Our province remains open to businesses, entrepreneurs and technology sector workers and their families who are looking for stability and the opportunity to grow and thrive.  With proximity to Europe, North, Central and South America, Newfoundland and Labrador offers a mature and growing technology sector with a skilled workforce, ample office space and a low cost of living.

Newfoundland and Labrador offers numerous supports at the federal and provincial level and is an ideal place to relocate or start a business.  The technology and innovation sectors, including the industry leading signatories below, are committed to assisting any technology company or individuals to find office space, financing, housing, or other supports they may require in relocating to our province.

Diversity drives innovation, the technology sector in Newfoundland and Labrador is unified in its support of welcoming those who will help make our province a much better place to live, work and prosper.
